Put the phone away from bed, choose one mission outside the bedroom, prepare the next action, and remove the fake early alarm that teaches you the first signal doesn't count.
Make snoozing physically awkward
You cannot negotiate with the snooze button as easily when the phone is across the room and the dismissal task is in the bathroom. Tonight, charge the phone away from the pillow, test the sound, and choose a mission that requires standing in a place where the morning can continue.
Then remove the alarm you secretly plan to ignore. If 6:00 is only a warm-up for 6:30, your sleeping brain has learned the truth. Set the first alarm at the time the wake-up actually starts.
Give your feet somewhere to go
Put clothes, slippers, water, glasses, medication if prescribed, or the first work item where the mission ends. Open the curtains if you can do it safely, or set up light for the first room you enter.
If you still snooze after a fair setup, look at sleep time and bedtime. A no-snooze plan cannot rescue a schedule that keeps giving your body too little sleep.
Common questions
Should I delete snooze completely?
If snooze keeps swallowing the morning, yes, try a week without it and replace it with one clear wake route.
What if I share a bedroom?
Use a quieter cue if needed, but keep the dismissal task outside bed. The route still matters.
